Midfielder Keith Andrews has been named in a 26-man Republic of Ireland squad for their Euro 2012 play-off games against Estonia next month. Andrews and his team-mates are in action in Tallinn on Friday 11th November, then at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on the following Tuesday.

Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni says his squad need to be wary of the Estonians: "There is no room for complacency as we prepare for our two games next month. We will remember that Estonia have as much right to be in the play-off as ourselves.

“They have had some very good results in their group beating Serbia and Slovenia. They also caused Italy a lot of problems. These games will be a huge challenge for us, and we must maintain the correct mentality from start to finish."

Andrews, a regular in the centre of Ireland’s midfield, will be hoping to add to his 24 caps and two international goals. Yesterday, Andrews had a yellow card which was erroneously shown to him during the qualifier gainst Armenia overturned.

Blues central defender Damien Delaney, who is a doubt for Saturday’s game at Millwall with a foot injury, is not included but ex-Town skipper Jon Walters and former loanee Darren O’Dea are both named in Trapattoni’s squad.

Republic of Ireland: Shay Given, Keiren Westwood, David Forde, John O’Shea, Stephen Kelly, Stephen Ward, Richard Dunne, Sean St Ledger, Darren O’Dea, Paul McShane, Glenn Whelan, James McCarthy, Seamus Coleman, Keith Andrews, Keith Fahey, Darron Gibson, Andy Keogh, Damien Duff, Aiden McGeady, Stephen Hunt, Liam Lawrence, Robbie Keane, Kevin Doyle, Shane Long, Simon Cox, Jon Walters.
