GFH to silence critics with Byram boost
GFH to silence critics with Byram boost

GFH capital have been noticeably quiet on twitter of late, maybe Messers Haigh, Alrayes and Patel are letting actions speak louder than words with the news Sam Byram has agreed to stay until at least June 2016.

The timely boost in the wake of Luciano Becchio's transfer request arguably sees United retain their other most prized-asset, with genuine fear that Leeds would be vulnerable to a big-money offer from a Premiership club for the 19-year-old who has had a storming season at right-back.

Indeed Byram blossoming has been one of the few highs of a turgid campaign so far. Of course this does not mean that one-day he won't be sold but at least it shows for the time being Young Sam sees his future here.

Leeds confirmed his new deal was a reward for the excellent progress he has made this season. Byram was taken along on our tour of Devon to make up the numbers and has made the right-back position his own since.

Byram tweeted @sambyram93: Thanks alot for all the tweets. very happy to have agreed a deal to extend to 2016 :)

And so say all of us!

Meanwhile another rumour doing twitter is that 29 year old French defender Francois Marque is on trial at Thorp Arch. Marque can play either left or centre back and is currently out of favour at Pierre Laurents old club SC Bastia.
