Visitors Centre To Open At New Stadium

A new visitors centre will open at the Swans new stadium next month giving fans the opportunity to look at purchasing their season tickets for the beginning of a new era.

In a letter from chairman Huw Jenkins to all current season ticket holders, Huw outlines the basis of the Premier club that has been commissioned to market around 1,000 of the best seats in the stadium together with the corporate boxes together with a window that will be available for all existing season ticket holders to reserve their seats for next season.

The letter in full reads

"We write to you as a current season ticket holder of the Swansea City Football Club. The board has received a number of enquiries from supporters regarding the new stadium and in particular the facilities available within the West Stand.

The brand new 'West Stand' at the Swansea Stadium is set to become one of the finest sporting and entertainment facilities in the region and a key feature of this new facility will be the inclusion of an exclusive 'members only' area. This outstanding 5 star area will be known as the Premier Club and will be the cornerstone of Swansea City's ambitious plans for success over the next five years.

The Premier Club will consist of an area of 1000 of the very best seats in the stadium and exclusive members' only access into the Bars, Lounges and Restaurants within the West Stand, car parking and a host of other benefits are also available.

Prices start from only £59 per month (this equates to under £20 per event) for inclusive access to all Swansea City AFC matches (including all league games, cup games and pre-season friendlies) and all Ospreys Rugby Matches (including cups and friendlies also)

The Premier Club will officially be launched toe the public in early November. However, as a Swansea City Season Ticket Holder we would like to offer you the opportunity to be amongst the first to hear about the Premier Club and view the seating area available before this public launch.

For enquiries regarding Season Tickets for the 2005/6 season, information will be available from the Visitors Centre which opens on the stadium site during November 2004. All current 2004 Season Ticket holders will be given a preferential two week opportunity window to purchase your tickets and choose your seating location prior to their general release.

Advertisements will be placed in the Evening Post to notify current season ticket holders when the two week time frame begins.

We look forward to welcoming you into our new home next year.

Kind Regards

Huw Jenkins

Chairman - Swansea City AFC
