Your chance to win a Swans shirt in the Planet Swans 2008/2009 Prediction League

It has proved to be one of the most popular sections of the site over the past few years and we are back this year with the Planet Swans prediction league for 2008/2009.

Once again we have teamed up with popular Swans fanzine, A Touch Far Vetched, to offer a prize of a replica shirt for the 2009/2010 season for the winner of this year's competition - a prize that will be donated to the person who proves to have the best predicting skills over the course of the season.

As ever, all you have to do is predict the score of the upcoming Swans matches - points are earned as follows

• Correct match result (home win, away win, draw) - 3 points
• Correct match score - 5 points
• Incorrect result - 1 point
• Correct home score - 1 point
• Correct away score - 1 point

• The game ends 1-1 - you get 10 points (3 for match result, 5 for score and 1 each for home and away score)
• The game ends in a draw other than 1-1 - you get 3 points (for the match score)
• Charlton score 1 but win or lose - you get 2 points (Correct home score and incorrect result)
• Swansea score 1 but win or lose - you get 2 points (Correct home score and incorrect result)
• The game ends in a victory for either side but not with either scoring a total of 1 goal - you get 1 point (incorrect result)

So get your prediction hats ready and get yourself registered for the new season’s competition.
