Huw Jenkins says that the club will re-invest the money received from the Jason Scotland sale

With £2m on the way for Wigan bound Scotland, the Swans have some serious money to work with in the summer transfer window, and they have big plans.

The current transfer record is set at £400k for Ashley Williams' move from Stockport County, although that could well be broken in the next few weeks.

Jenkins is currently in Portugal talking over next season's plans with new boss Paulo Sousa, and they, along with the squad, are due to return in the next few days.

"The fans can be reassured that the manager and his staff are looking to strengthen as soon as possible," Jenkins told the official site.

"I can also assure our fans that all the funds received from the sale of Jason will be reinvested into the club by Paulo. We will endeavour to do that before the season starts."
