Now That Would Be Interesting...

Today's papers report that David Moyes may be looking to send Wilfried Zaha out on loan in January after the wide man has struggled to get into the side since joining for £15m back in the summer.

Zaha has featured just once for Moyes' side - the Community Shield win against Wigan back in August - although he is suspected to get a chance against Norwich this week in the Capital One Cup.

And Moyes has admitted that he is likely to look to send Zaha out on loan in January which possibly could alert a host of teams of which the Swans could be one.

The wide positions at the club are widely reported to be an area where the Swans need to strengthen their side and the availability of someone like Zaha would certainly alert the Swans although there would almost certainly be a queue of teams looking to secure his services with former club Crystal Palace certainly in the mix as well.

The Swans have also previously been linked with a move for Tom Ince who turned down Cardiff in the summer and that in itself could manifest itself into another transfer frenzy when the window opens in January.

Moyes aid "I've said if I couldn't get him a game I would look at it in January. I really thought when he came in he needed to be here for six months to see how we work.

"Unfortunately we've not been able to do that with Wilf. If I can't do do a lot for him by January then I would look at it. We've not had the right opportunity to introduce him as much as we'd like but he's very much in my plans."

The Swans have competition for wide places in the main from Nathan Dyer, Wayne Routledge and Pablo Hernandez and either Ince or Zaha would find some serious game time here that could only serve to make us stronger.
