For me the link between Swansea City and Reading for winger Halo Robson-Kanu is an easy one for papers to make because he is Welsh and in the last year of his contract. Good player but not sure that we will be looking at him.

That said there are strong links - as first revealed on here - between Norwich and Nathan Dyer so maybe there is something in this and if Reading were to drop their £4m price tag that is reported to be the current stumbling block then maybe there is a deal to be done.

Robson-Kanu is part of the Wales side that seemingly is marching towards France next summer and have also just reached the Top 10 in the World rankings for the first time.

He has 23 caps and two goals for his country and the Royals are demanding big money for the winger who can also play up front.

The Mirror report that we have already made two bids for him so maybe there is more to this than just paper talk and he would certainly be a good addition to our team if we could secure him but for it to happen then it almost certainly - for me anyway - means that it could be the end here for Nathan Dyer or possibly Marvin Emnes.
