Our most recent RamZone poll was a bit of a non-event as most of the voting options have either been injured or not been given much game time. Sums up the season really!

The poll question RamZone posed was:

Which recent addition to the squad do you think will have the biggest impact in a Rams shirt ?

13% of all votes pointed to ‘them all being tosh’ and to be honest that was probably the closest to the mark. None of the signings could claim to have made a genuine lasting impact since their arrival.

There was a tie on 17% with support for both Livermore and Dickov in equal amounts. Although Livermore has had the most game time of all our options, he has failed to produce many memorable displays.

Dickov had to wait longer for his chance but in his three most recent outings has looked lively and likely to score. Of the two and perhaps all five, I think Dickov has looked the most impressive in a Rams shirt.

On 24% Lee Hendrie was expected to show some of the class he has produced over the years but sadly is yet to do so. Hendrie found it hard to get off the substitutes bench at first but when he did looked like he could become a contributor for the team. The injury curse put a hold on him grabbing a regular spot and he will be hoping to get it sorted and reward the faith of our voters ASAP.

Our winner on 29% is James Vaughan who came to Derby on loan from Everton and just the other day celebrated winning our poll by having his loan cancelled. With a bucket load of talent and a good pedigree Vaughan broke down after only two appearances for the Rams. He has now returned to the toffees for an operation that will keep him sidelined till Christmas.
