Andre Leao has agreed a deal to sign for Swansea, according to reports in the Portuguese media
The Pacos man, once of Romanian club CFR Cluj, was first linked to the club last week.
Leading football website Abola.pt claims that a deal has been agreed between both clubs with only the return of Paulo Sousa from South Africa delaying the deal.
Leao enjoyed a successful spell in Porto's B side during the 2005/06 campaign, scoring an impressive 16 goals in 25 games, before joining Beira-Mar - a second tier club in Portugal.
He soon moved to Cluj before joining current club Pacos Ferreira on deadline day of the January transfer window in 2010.
Swansea are keen to strengthen their midfield after Leon Britton's exit to Sheffield United, while there are still question marks over the future of Andrea Orlandi.
