Boss Andy Awford told The News: ‘I can’t knock their effort, they tried very hard today — but it’s not good enough, simple as that. We’ve got a job to do to lift them, to do a bit more with them, to get more out of them and they’ve got to stand up and be counted as well.
‘We’re all in this together, we’ve all got our jobs to do and we’ll have to keep doing that.’
