Kenny Jackett says Pompey must keep cool heads to make sure they avoid being on the wrong end of an FA Cup upset at Maidenhead on Saturday.
Looking ahead to a game BT Sport have picked for live coverage, the manager told www.portsmothfc.co.uk: 'We have to look at it as a good chance to progress and we want to go on a run to give our fans reason to get excited. But the television cameras are there for a reason, so we have to rise to the occasion. We’ll need to be organised and structured if we want a result.
'There hasn’t been any change to our programme. It’s a competition we want to do well in and we regard this as a big game. I don’t think there will be too many changes. We’ve got a break coming up, so there’s no reason for us to rest anyone.”
'I’ve been to their ground before and there’s a slight slope, but the pitches are good at this time of year. They’ve had a recent run of poor form, although we know that will go out the window on Saturday. I doubt it’ll have a lot of bearing on their approach.
'The magic of this competition is that it’s a one-off game, but we’ve done our homework and will make the players aware of their strengths.'
