Morrissey - "the new Revie?"

A Guardian review of Morrissey's Monday night gig in Camden likens the Mancunian Miserablist to the great Don Revie!

Morrissey has become Don Revie! according to the Guardian.

The former Smiths' frontman is currently doing five nights at Camden's Roundhouse as part of a whistlestop UK tourm which takes in Doncaster, Sunderland and Edinburgh next week!

In Tuesday's Guardian, Ian Gitten's writes "Morrissey no longer resembles the snake-hipped visionary of yore. Stocky in sensible brown slacks, shirt and tie, he bears a striking resemblance to the 1970s England football manager Don Revie.."

I must admit, looking at older pictures of Don in his Man City playing days, he does bare a bit of a resemblance to the younger version of Stretford's most infamous vegan. The prominent chin and the quiff are quite strikingl similar.

Don sadly passed away in 1989. He was Leeds United's most successful manager winning two league titles, two Fairs Cup's, the FA Cup and the League Cup in 13 glorious years.
