Can someone give me a link to anything in the universe as long as it's not Swansea City v Bournemouth?

I'm desperate to not watch this.

Aside from the Swans/football, the only sport I tend to follow these days is boxing, and, as we occasionally have a few boxing threads pop up, thought we might gather our thoughts under one thread.

Anyone else see Lomachenko v Walters? bizarre ending to that fight with Walters quitting after 7 as he couldn't be arsed to continue.

Lied to Palace to get a £2 million bonus paid early, then quit the very next day after banking the cash.

Even got players to lie in court for him.

Interesting Quote from Monk
at 20:39 30 Jul 2016

In his interview in the Observer:

“It was probably more difficult to manage at Swansea than it is being here,” he says. “I have a refined way of working in terms of what I do and I’m able to do it with a blank canvas."

Watch out, Leeds. By the time he'd scrubbed all of the long-standing paint off the Swansea canvas and set about painting his own picture, it got pretty ugly...

Did well. Refreshing to have a player in midfield who can pass the ball...

Hopefully he'll stick a 30 yarder into the norwich net on the weekend.

Embarrassment of riches in some respects.

Thought today's selection was a good balance, even if confidence was a bit low.

Ki/Jonjo/Gylfi.

Harsh on Cork and Leon, but I feel comfortable with that line-up; a good balance. Gylfi and Jonjo are starters for me; Think Ki and Cork just have to accept a season of rotation.

Not a BBC Sport homepage I'd have expected to see when a nipper as we trawled the nether regions of division 4.

Granted, there was no such thing as the internet then, but still, if there was one, the sport section would absolutely not have a main picture of a Manchester Utd goalkeeper collapsed in defeat on the floor as we beat them in a top-flight league game, with a side photo confirming the call-up into the England team of one of our players.

Saw this casually mentioned on the Sky Sports media round-up this morning. Or at least I think I did...I hope I didn't imagine it, I'd like to think I have a more exotic imagination than that.

Miserable Britain
at 21:42 14 Feb 2015

One of the fondest memories I have of my late father is walking hand in hand around Brynmill with him as a kid, and, whilst the best thing was probably the way he'd hold his arm up high when a curb approached so I could swing like a monkey up onto the pavement, the next best thing was how he always greeted passers by with a nod or an 'evening', 'good morning', 'afternoon' etc. now, I wasn't only impressed by my dad's grasp of the time of day, it was the fact he'd greet random passers-by whether they were known to us or not...an open-hearted, decent way to travail the social landscape...

...it made the world seem such a collective, nice place.

Despite being a committed introvert (like my dad was), I have tried to keep up this ideal, but is it just me, or are we the most miserable, suspicious generation to have walked the earth? I'm not like a manic attention-seeker, but it seems a natural thing for me to give a basic greeting to to people I come across who make eye contact, a quick smile, a nod, a 'yep, lifes a f*cking sh*thole, but at least we're all still here' type of acknowledgement...but...most of the time, if you try to commit an act of basic communal courtesy you're greeted like someone suspicious of being...a rapist/paedo/homo/weirdo....

Maybe it's just London, but, f*cking hell people, nothing wrong with a 'good morning' to someone you cross paths with at a bus-stop. They're not here to kill you or enslave your kids.
