You can have 3 4 or 5 at the back for all I care. If you don’t have a proven striker and target man who can hold the ball up and get you up the pitch then you don’t win games. Simple. We need a number 9

With so many games in a short time the manager has to utilise the squad. Everyone else does. Fellows doesn’t look fit and I’m not sure what Azaz actually does. Archer is a gamble but see how it goes.

It’s hard to attack when you don’t have a striker as in a target man. Leo will come on second half and should give us more threat but we need a centre forward.

Exactly like the previous games we have no out to get us up the pitch. Armstrong isn’t an out and out striker and feck knows what Azaz is. No threat up front.

Until we get a striker we are a mid table Championship side which is exactly where we are. You can’t win games consistently without a striker.

Teams like Oxford sit back and try to hit us on the break. Fellows has been poor but we just need a striker. A good old fashioned strong number 9. A Beattie or a Ricky Lambert type to give us more up front. It’s clear Stewart can’t do the job.

We so need a striker. We haven’t played badly and don’t agree it’s tippy tappy at the back it’s just we don’t have an out and someone to get in the box.
