Keane and Clegg Set to Face Shareholders
Keane and Clegg Set to Face Shareholders
Tuesday, 7th Dec 2010 09:31 by TWTD.co.uk

Boss Roy Keane and chief executive Simon Clegg are likely to face some stiff questioning from shareholders at the PLC AGM which is being held in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite this evening. Around 3,000 supporters are shareholders in the PLC, which owns 12.5% of the club since Marcus Evans’s takeover in December 2007.

Although not obliged to be at the meeting, Keane attended last year and answered questions with the Blues then having won just one of 17 league games and at the bottom of the Championship.

Chief executive Simon Clegg was elected to the PLC board a year ago and is also set to be at tonight’s meeting, which will be run by David Sheepshanks, who remains the PLC’s chairman.

As part of tonight's formal business, shareholders will vote on re-electing Sheepshanks and Richard Moore to the PLC board.

Town recently announced losses of £14 million in the financial year to June 2010.
