Swansea Row Resolved

Town’s row with Swansea City regarding the £300,000 owed from the Tamás Priskin loan deal has been resolved. TWTD understands that the Welsh club paid the Blues the outstanding cash in full earlier today.

Swans chairman Huw Jenkins, who was due to Town chief executive Simon Clegg on his return from holiday today, confirmed that the situation had been resolved: "There's no issue at all with Ipswich. Everything is fine between us and we move on.

"All our differences have been resolved today and we've concluded on all matters to do with Tamás Priskin being on loan with us.

"We've got a good relationship with Ipswich and I get along well with Simon Clegg, the chief executive."

On Friday, an angry Clegg made a complaint to the Premier League regarding the unpaid cash — wages plus £160,000 relating to the Swans’ success in the play-offs — asking for a transfer embargo to be placed on the newly-promoted Welsh club.

Clegg is expected to make a statement regarding the resolution of the matter on Tuesday morning.
