Town’s U18s beat Tottenham’s youngsters 4-2 at their Spurs Lodge training ground this morning. Jack Marriott (pictured) netted twice, while Joe Whight (pen) and Tom Winter scored one apiece.

Whight put the Blues in front in the 37th minute having been felled in the box, striker Marriott adding to Town’s lead two minutes before the break from close range.

The first-year scholar made it 3-0 five minutes after half-time but it took only two minutes for the home side to pull a goal back via Shaquile Coulthirst.

Tom Winter added Town’s fourth with 24 minutes left on the clock with Coulthirst pulling back a further goal for the home side on 70.

The win was Russell Osman’s boys’ second victory in a row having not previously won a league game since November.

U18s: Cropper, Bennett, October, Meikle (Scotcher 61), Acott, Thorsteinsson, Winter, Timlin (Leddy 61), Marriott (Tiofack 61), Lawrence, Whight. Unused: O’Donnell.
