The latest triallist at Pompey appears to be French-Algerian midfielder Julien Lopez, a 20-year-old midfielder currently at French champions Montepellier.

Lopez hasn't featured in the first team at Montpellier, but he has represented Algeria in the Under 17 World Cup in 2009. He was thought to have agreed a loan deal at French Ligue 2 side Arles-Avignon for next season.
