Lacey Signs Contract

and is now approaching 70 league appearances since Jan Molby handed him his debut on the opening day of the 1996/97 season, against Rochdale. Damian was a key factor in the midfield when the Swans had that record breaking run of wins last season in a bid for the championship. Unfortunately his run in the first team was ended by injury, and missed the start of this season with stress fractures of his right heel bone. Thankfully, he has overcome his injury problems, and is now on the fringe of clinching his midfield role back permanently after biding his time in the reserves.
