Midfielder Andy Robinson was signed from Tranmere by Brian Flynn in 2003 after impressing on trial, the Scouser scored an impressive 10 goals from midfield in his first season. He also won the player of the year for that season.

Robinson's second season in professional football was a bit more difficult as he was sent off twice for head butting and he had problems on and off the pitch, although he still scored 8 goals to help the Swans gain promotion from league 2 - he also scored the last goal at the Vetch against Wrexham in the FAW Cup.

Last season was Robinson's best ever scoring season, the ex-Tranmere player scored 18 goals from midfield - despite missing the first 7 games of the season. Robinson played on the left of midfield and in the centre last season, he is also a frustrating player at times, does usually looks better as an impact player.
