Meet The Ref - Reading Thursday, 25th Sep 2008 20:10 Matthew Phillips introduces us to the man in the middle for the Reading game Saturday’s referee is Scott Mathieson from Cheshire, he is a very experienced referee and has been refereeing since 1997; He was the referee in the infamous Hull game where the Swans stayed in Division 3 on the last game of the season. He kindly awarded us two penalties in that game which Swansea won 4-2. We’ve only won 2 games since, so far this season he’s issued 14 yellows in 7 games and no reds as yet.
