Scotland Leaving? Striker Misses Portugal Trip
Scotland Leaving? Striker Misses Portugal Trip

Jason Scotland hasn't travelled with the squad on their trip to Portugal, fuelling rumours the striker will leave this summer

Scotland scored 24 goals last season, which took his tally since joining the club to an outstanding 53 strikes since arriving in the summer of 2007.

That form has prompted Premier League interest from the likes of Burnley, who saw a bid rejected earlier this summer, worth around £1.25m. That offer is under half of what the Swans board expect for a player who's enjoyed so much success in the last few years.

The Clarets, managed by Scotland's former boss Owen Coyle, seemed to have cooled their interest following the signing of Steven Fletcher from Hibernian.

Still in the chase for the Trinidad & Tobago international though is Roberto Martinez, who chairman Huw Jenkins says has shown 'more interest' in the 30 year old in the last few days.

Could we have seen the last of Scotland in a Swans shirt?
