Kennedy back at Dale Friday, 24th Jan 2014 17:25 by Col With two midfielders leaving the club on Thursday, it was a welcome return of an old favourite on Friday with the news that Jason Kennedy had signed a loan deal for the remainder of the season. Kennedy moved to the West Yorkshire outfit last Summer, citing League One football and a club nearer to his North East home as a reason following his release from Dale. However, Kennedy's time at Bradford hasn't gone as well as he would have hoped, with him finding it difficult to establish himself in the first team at Valley Parade. He has made just seven starts for the Bantams in all competitions. In his previous spell at Spotland, Kennedy was an integral member of the first team that achieved promotion and then subsequently finished in the highest league position in the club's history. He will take the squad number 8 that was vacated on Thursday by Andrew Tutte on Thursday, but unfortunately he will not be eligible to play in this weekend's FA Cup 4th Round tie with Sheffield Wednesday.
