Sunderland And Leicester Wanting Gorre?
Monday, 22nd Jun 2015 20:55 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

Kenji Gorre is a reported target for both Sunderland and Leicester it has been reported by ESPN FC.

Gorre scored 18 goals last season as the Under-21 team won the development league as well as providing 10 assists before making his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace in the last game of the season.

Gorre's performances attracted some rave reviews from the people who watched the games and it would be a massive shame if the Swans decided that they may want to cash in on a player who joined them from Manchester United in 2013

Gorre is currently in the final year of his contract at the club but we need to hold onto young talent when we have it in our ranks. Having said that, first team football is something that we need to arrange so maybe we could consider a loan deal and see how it plays out whilst offering an extension to the current deal

Somehow, I don't think Gorre is going anywhere. He will get first team experience this coming season I'm sure if he stays to simply prove himself. The Swans need quality strikers and to let Gorre go would be a big mistake at this time I believe. If he moves on the club won't make a fortune, and the buying club that gets him and he did produce the goods will make quite a bit. The lad has real talent and should rightly be given the opportunity at first team level to show what he can do, because this is what the Swans are about and want to do. I say again, it would be a mistake to let him go and should offer him a new deal!
