Predictions by the Carlisle News and Star, made ahead of their long trip south, have Pompey down to finish sixth and Carlisle sneaking into the play-offs by one point. Plymouth and Accrington are down to nab the top two play-off spots with Bristol Rovers going up automatically in third place. Carlisle have not featured prominently in the promotion race so far but their Easter win ovder Bristol Rovers has got many at Brunton Park dreaming of gatecrashing the top seven. Their recent progress has been held up by too many draws - in fact they have drawn 15 in total, like another team we can think of...
