Pompey know there's no margin for error Friday, 6th Apr 2018 22:01 by pompey-fans.com staff Pompey head to Rochdale hoping to continue their winning run but knowing any slip-up will be a big dent in their play-off ambitions. The Blues have forced their way into the reckoning for the final couple of spots - with Kenny Jackett even admitting when questioned that fourth place could be within the grasp of the clubs immediately outside the top six. But despite four wins in a row there is no room for error and Jackett has warned that Rochdale's improved recent form makes them dangerous opponents. He said the squad was in good spirits ahead of the game at Spotland. 'There’s been a real sense of anticipation around the training ground this week,' he told the Pompey website. 'The players have been working hard and looking forward to what will be another big game for us on Saturday. We’ve generated a lot of interest and optimism from supporters because of what’s happened recently. 'Fifth and sixth are both open — and you can maybe say fourth as well — with six matches to go. All we have to do is focus on ourselves as usual. We’ll have a good crowd going up to support us and I know they’ll be getting right behind us. That can only help us.' Pompey could be unchanged from the line-up who started against Wigan, although Anton Walkes missed training on Thursday and Dion Donohue is available again. Jackett's men could end the day anywhere from fifth to nine while Dale could be out of the relegation zone with a win.
