McCrorie deal looks possible for Pompey Friday, 5th Jul 2019 10:07 by pompey-fans.com staff Reports in Scotland say Pompey are in pole position to sign Rangers midfielder Ross McCrorie. The Daily Record claims the popular Ibrox man is set for a loan move to Fratton Park to get regular minutes under his belt. A permanent deal is not of the question and there are claims he is down for talks today. The Record says Kenny Jackett has been tracking the 21-year-old for some time and has requested an option to buy the player permanently following the short term deal. Gers manager Steven Gerrard has said he would be willing to send McCrorie out on loan. Rangers fans would be sorry to see him leave but Pompey fans are already getting excited about the prospect of him joining.
