Pompey have been quick to give fans the chance of a full refund for home games not played after the regular League One season was ended.
The Blues are giving fans three options on the proportion of their season ticket money that would pay for the final four home games that were lost in the shutdown.
They can claim a full refund, use the funds towards next season's ticket or donate the cash to the club.
The move has gone down well with fans at a time when some other clubs are not being so straightforward in offering refunds.
It comes as the Blues look forward to a behind closed doors two-legged play-off semi-final against Oxford - amid news that two Blues players are having to self-isolate after testing positive for coronavirus.
Pompey chief commercial officer Anna Mitchell told the Pompey website: 'We would like to thank all our fans for their patience and understanding while we have waited for official confirmation on how the season would end. It is only right that we allow supporters to be reimbursed for matches that did not ultimately take place – either with a refund or a credit that can be used for future purchases.
'However, we have also been overwhelmed and humbled by the number of supporters who have been in touch with us to say they would prefer for their money to remain with the club during this challenging economic period.
'This is a generous and welcome offer at a time when the club’s income streams have been severely affected, but we also fully understand that many of our supporters will also have been severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
'After listening and taking on board the views of the Tony Goodall Fans’ Conference, and confirming with both the main and H&A boards, we are confident that the options detailed below tick the boxes of all of our amazing fans.'
The website gives the following guidance:
Season Ticket Holders Pompey had four home games remaining when the season was suspended, with games against Accrington, Doncaster, Bristol Rovers and Blackpool not taking place.
Season ticket holders will be offered the following options:
Option 1: Your online account will be credited to the value of 4/23 of the cost of your season ticket. This can be used when purchasing season tickets or match tickets in the future.
Option 2: A full refund to the value of 4/23 of the cost of your season ticket.
Option 3: Donate the money to the club during this financially challenging time.
Home & Away Match Ticket Holders
Supporters who have bought tickets for individual games – both home and away – can choose to either claim a full refund or receive a credit which can be used to purchase tickets for future matches.
