West Ham and Stevenage are added to Pompey's schedule Tuesday, 18th Aug 2020 21:31 by pompey-fans.com staff Stevenage and West Ham's youngsters have been added to Pompey's list of opponents. The Hertfordshire team will host the Blues in the first round of the Carabao Cup, while the young Hammers have been drawn to compete in Pompey's EFL group. The Carabao tie is scheduled to take place at Broadhall Way on the weekend of September 5/6, almost certainly still with no fans present. It will be settled on the day. Stevenage finished bottom of League Two but were granted a reprieve when a points deduction saw Macclesfield relegated to the National League instead. Meanwhile West Ham U21s have been drawn into Pompey's EFL Trophy group. The game will be at Fratton Park in Southern Group A, with a date to be confirmed. League Two sides Colchester and Southend are also in the group. Pompey have yet to play the 19-20 EFL Trophy final, against Salford at Wembley. Pompey's League One fixtures are due out this Friday.
