Pompey midfielder Joe Morrell has been named in the Wales squad for next month's World Cup play-off against Scotland or Ukraine.

The match takes place in Cardiff on Sunday, June 5 and if they win it will book Wales a spot at this year's tournament in Qatar.

Wales would join England, USA and Iran in Group B but have not reached the World Cup since 1958.

Morrell was in the Wales squad that made it to the round of 16 at last summer's delayed European Championship.
