Excellent and dependable - Pompey boss delighted to keep Ogilvie on board Friday, 19th Jun 2026 16:23 by Pompey-fans.com staff Connor Ogilvie's new two-year Pompey contract has been hailed by John Mousinho as one which keeps an important member of his squad at his disposal. The defender is already the Blues' longest-serving player, the 30-year-old having made 196 appearances and scored 13 goals since signing from Gillingham in 2021. He follows Marlon Pack in terms of out-of-contract stars signing new deals and Mousinho told the club website: 'We’re delighted that Connor has signed a new deal to keep him at Pompey for another couple of years. 'The fact that, whenever fit, he has always featured since I’ve been at the club shows just how valuable he is to our team. He made a vital contribution to our League One title success a couple of seasons ago and quickly adapted to playing in the Championship. 'Connor is an excellent professional and a dependable defender, while also offering us an attacking threat.' Ogilvie came through the ranks at Tottenham and was a popular figure at Gillingham. He made his Pompey debut in a League One victory at Fleetwood. Photo: Action Images via Reuters Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
