Larry's substitutions pay off against Posh.

Leeds United moved up to seventh with a 3-1 win over Peterborough.

Third-placed Posh managed by a certain offspring of a certain Ferguson were eventually sunk by a double from Jermain Beckford and one from Johnny Howson.

Both players started the afternoon warming the bench. In Beckford's case, it was a welcome return to action following a couple of months of hamstring niggles.

Replacing Lucciano Becchio on 58 minutes, it took Beck's just three minutes to pounce, snazzling up a rebound from Bradley Johnson's free-kick.

On 71 minutes, after good work by Trundle, Beckford got his and Leeds' second.

However, Leeds were stunned when Peterborough pulled one back from Craig Maskell-Smith with ten minutes to go.

Accordingly Grayson shuffled his pack, sacrificing forward Trundle for midfielder Howson for what could have been an anxious ending to the game.

However Howson struck gold on 90, to seal the win which moves Leeds above Hudderfield and Stockport, who both lost today.

However Leeds remain five points adrift of Millwall, who dropped to sixth today after being involved in the FA Cup.
