Will there be another row brewing over hotel expenses and dodgy DVD's?

With the ink barely dry on the fixture list, Leeds have yet another change enforced upon them by the plod.

Having had the trips to Southend (now Friday 11th September KO 7.45pm instead of 3pm the following day) and Yeovil (originally Easter Monday but now Tuesday April 6th 2010) moved, the short sojourn to Huddersfield  Townon Saturday 27th February 2010 will now kick off at 12:30pm instead of the traditional 3pm kick-off.

A similar change was requested last-season by West Yorkshire's finest and following United's unlucky 1-0 defeat at the Galpharm a row broke out over travelling expenses.

Yes, some month's before MP's hit in the news with their expenses, Huddersfield Town reckoned Leeds were at it when they billed the Terriers for an overnight stay even though the grounds are just 15 miles apart. As your local RT Hon member may bluster, it was all above board and within "the rules" but the Terriers accused it of doing "nothing for Leeds reputation" and described it as "sad but laughable".

Leeds retorted, revealing that Huddersfield Town had been forced to pay Leeds' compensation in November 2008 because they had used footage from the Terrier's win at Elland Road to copy on to a DVD which they had sold on to their fans.

As ever though, it is the long-suffering, loyal fans who suffer these changes made by the over-zealous Police who are twenty-odd years behind the times.
