The 21 year old was released by the Blades at the end of last season and Simpson was quick to snap him up. Wedgbury started his career at Worcester City before signing for Sheffield United in 2006. He made two loan moves whilst at Bramhall Lane - Mansfield Town and Hungarian club Ferencváros. We welcome Sam to the Moss Rose.
