There are going to be a few of them coming up

After a fixtureless weekend Saints prepare for another big weekend, although there are a few midweek fixtures in midweek, none really affect Saints, although the weekend gets started early with Peterborough V Bournemouth  live on Sky on Friday night.

After overhauling Bournemouth, the tide has swung and Saints supporters will be desperate for a Cherries win over the Posh, with a draw being an acceptable alternative, basically anything other than a Peterborough victory would give us a big boost before Saturday.

On Saturday we have to do our bit and hopefully pay Bournemouth back for the previous nights favour by beating MK Dons, then it will be all eyes to Merseyside and Huddersfield's game at Tranmere, where we will be hoping Rovers can do to them what they did to us.

The pendulum has been swinging of late and after the weekend Hudderfield have regained momentum over Peterborough and put a little ground between us as well, of course we have games in hand over both of them  but we have to now win them.

Overall though the last two fixtures have been good for Saints, although the late equaliser at Charlton was a blow we still took four points from two tough games, whilst Peterborough took only one from their duo of fixtures, Hudderfield of course matched our four point haul, but their was from two easy away games where they would have banked on getting six points and although they feel they have an advantage over both us and Peterborough its an unsteady one that could crumble if we do our bit.

Its a big weekend coming up and once again we have to do our bit by getting the three home points and pray for a slip up, given that we are now at the business end of the season with only five home games left it would be nice to see a crowd in the region of 25,000 at St Mary's, away from home Saints fans have been great and snap up every ticket for the final games almost as soon as they go on sale, now its the turn of the semi regular Saints supporters to turn up in numbers and roar on the team to promotion.

I think there will be a lot of twists and turns before the end of the season.

Looking at the run ins huddersfield have the hardest and only 3 home games left,it's Peterborough that worry me as I see them getting aprox another 20 points from their games ,so let's hope Boremuff do us a favour on Friday and Huddersfield to beat Peterborough when they play even though at the time we may still be behind them ,I think it wil be easier to overtake uddersfield with our games in hand than peterborough .. One thing for sure is this is going to be nervy the whole way up to the championship BUT we will do it COYR

I dont think the run-ins make any difference for us, Hudders, or Posh - its really down to who has the most bottle. Any of us could lose against the so called lesser teams if we bottle it. That worries me most about Saints, but I reckon I will be proven wrong and think we will still clinch 2nd!
