Stefan Brown Voted Player of FA Cup 1st Round

AFC Totton recieved a boost ahead of their 2nd roun tie against Bristol Rovers.

A week or so ago I urged Saints fans to log on and vote for AFC Totton's Stefan Brown as player of the 1st round of the FA Cup, Brown had come on as sub in the demolition of Bradford Park Avenue and notched a 15 minute hat trick to turn a good win into a rout.

With the award being reliant on votes from fans on the FA website and the player up against players from Luton & Bradford City, clubs withconsiderably more support than Totton, the Saints vote must have swung it as the Totton man scored a whopping 38%, with Luton's Adam Watkins second on 24% and Bradford city's Nahki Wells 3rd on 21%.

Brown will recieve a special trophy to commorate the event and will also attend the FA Cup final as a special guest of both the FA and sponsors Budweiser.
