A panel made up of LMA chairman Howard Wilkinson, ex-Town boss Joe Royle, Sir Alex Ferguson, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry made the decision to hand the gong to the Blues. Paul Jewell will receive a specially engraved crystal football in a presentation to be screened on this weekend’s Sky Soccer Saturday.
