Dale in the Times - 6th Monday, 3rd Aug 2009 07:54 It's not just us doing predictions this time of the year. Newspaper The Times has had a go, and had us down to finish in 6th place. The Murdoch owned broadsheet said about us:
Keith Hill, the manager, is having to work with a reduced budget and a squad of 18 players as he tries to guide the club towards the play-off positions again. The absence of Rory McArdle, the defender, for the first month of the campaign because of a dislocated shoulder is a frustration. They also face a tricky start to the season with a difficult away trip to Port Vale, followed by a Carling Cup match away to Sheffield Wednesday.
