Paul Mariner was happy to see his side scrape a point against the Swans

Mariner said after the game "We're obviously delighted with the point

"Swansea are a quality team and Paulo's got some beautiful technicians out there.

"They spray the ball around very well and they obviously did their homework on us because they were defending not such a high-line, so we couldn't get round the back of them.

"To go a goal down and show the fighting qualities and fighting spirit is spectacular for us. My hat goes off to the lads again for being so resilient.

"The goalie made a great save, but the assistant referee decided he moved, or whether it was encroachment, I'm not 100 per cent sure. I'm assuming the keeper moved early.

"Damien stepped up and I was thrilled when it went in.

"The main thing for us was the line that Swansea's back four kept because we couldn't get Jamie (Mackie) going in the channels,'' he added.

"I think they have the best defence in the league, so we thought it might be a one-goal game. In the end, a point against Swansea is a good point."
