Sanchez Watt signed on season long-loan.

Leeds have swooped to ease their striking crisis by re-signing Arsenal kid Sanchjez Watt on a season long-loan.

The winger cum striker impressed at the latter end of the League One promotion campaign and United have swooped to secure his presence, for our Championship return at the least.

With bags of speed, talent, guile, a sweet left-foot and an eye for goal, the 19-year-old is sure to be a massive hit again and we have the luxury of having him for the full-season. I am not a fan of those month to month loans we have relied on in the past, so I think this is a very good move by Simon Grayson.

Watt's experience at Arsenal has been limited to three League Cup matches, scoring on his debut in 2009 against West Brom.

As well as his six-matches for Leeds last season, Sanchez featured four times for Southend last February.

With Billy Paynter likely to miss the curtain-raiser against Derby on Saturday and Leeds looking to lead the forward line with Luciano Becchio and Mike Grella or David Somma - the latter two hardly regulars, Watt's arrival is a big boost for Leeds.

Meanwhile Tresor Kandol may join the growing Leeds old-boys network at Swindon, according to the YEP. The Robins already have David Lucas and Jonathan Douglas in their ranks and the Congolese striker has been told he can leave Leeds on a free!
