"We've Got Problems" Says Adams
Monday, 25th Oct 2010 12:48 by portvale4ever

"We've got problems" Micky Adams has told The Sentinel. He's not wrong. After our fantastic start to the season we've hit a dismal run of form and haven't won a competitive game this month.

This though is not what Adams is banging on about. He's on about the current injury list, Lewis Haldane has been unavailable so far this season, Rob Taylor is out with hamstring trouble, and Sean Rigg was replaced at Cheltenham after picking up a knock. This does not leave us with too many options out wide! Adams is hoping to find something in the loan market, although I would hazard a guess that there is not a lot out there, and I would very much doubt that we would be able to find anything better than our recent loanees Bell-Baggie or Jemal Johnson, who were both disappointing during their spell at Vale Park.

The 'problems' that we have and which Adams is not alluding to is our lack of fire power which has been clear for everyone to see. We desperately need to bring in a loan striker, if only to put some heat onto the Richards twins. Again though, will there be anyone out there who fits the bill?

Crewe on Saturday is a big game...
