| January Transfer Rumours on 10:08 - Jan 29 by Whiterockin | According to Keith it would be £3M up front so it would all be about wheeling and dealing. Not the easiest thing to do. How would it not affect PSR, I believe all transfers do unless there are the complexities of selling academy players. |
Agreed it may be just £3m up front but a guaranteed income over the coming years, depending on milestones, which could be factored into our spending. I believed PSR was there to prevent Clubs spending money they don't have thus creating debt. If you buy a player and then sell him for a profit it's not debt creation. That's what I believe. Others can confirm one way or the other.

| January Transfer Rumours on 17:06 - Jan 29 by Whiterockin | His contract was up in June and we didn't extend. The telling point is when he didn't feature anywhere when his USA loan was up 4 weeks ago. |
The telling feature was when he went out on loan to what basically equates to the lower leagues in the US. When that happened the odds of him ever coming back here and becoming a first team player were low. I've said in the past that we need to be more ruthless with some of the youth products. If they're not out on loan at a reasonable standard at 18 ready to come back and knock on the door of the first team then they're probably not going to make it. I mean, Josh Thomas is 24 this year. What is he still doing on our books? We need to force a lot more of them out of their comfort zone in the youth setup. Doing otherwise serves neither them nor us.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I gave that as an example of a structure more than a definite. But it’s how it generally works. The payment down may be more or less.

| January Transfer Rumours on 18:09 - Jan 29 by Landore_Jack | He's only 21. You never know what can happen in football. Kyle Joseph for example. |
Don't you think there is a reason he went on loan to the US instead of the UK. Sometimes plsyers just find their level.

That's as maybe, but why think about selling your goal scorer which will leave the club vulnerable.?

Remember nobody has bought a season ticket for next year yet. There needs to be positivity to maintain or improve previous sales figures. Selling key players is not the way forward. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| January Transfer Rumours on 17:16 - Jan 29 by Whiterockin | We have to accept that the level our under 21s play is very average and some of the players look better than they really are. It's no surprise how many disappear down the leagues. |
Swansea have four players in the SPL and three are regulars Congreve Lissah Wilson. They seem to be thriving. Cotterill he as joined Congreve at Dundee. With money tight Swansea need to use these players and not Waste money on loans. Pool the loan cash for elite players only. Swansea current u21 have several u18 players. The u18 got a signature away win in Leeds. Which is not to be sniffed at
