Just repeats his 'we have to learn' mantra, without giving any insight at all into WHAT we - and as importantly HE - is learning. His inability to even acknowledge the collapsed 2nd half and self-defeating backfootedness that in the end handed Wrexham the game is seriously worrying. He just looks in a comfort zone to me and speaks in the same cliches again and again. We'll see what Coventry brings next time out, but 'I think it will be difficult for the players' is hardly fighting talk, is it? How does that rally anyone? I wouldn't back him to 'find a solution' right now if a memo reading 'this is the solution' were taped to his head! Meanwhile, I've given up asking for standards because this coach, and this club, just don't show me any. Hope everyone goes out tonight and does lots of enjoyable non-QPR things. Maybe thats the real reason for his delay. trying to get him less fit than he is ?

| Julien speaks on 21:19 - Jan 26 by sdm1508 | You can be fit to come on if needed but it's a different level to being fit to start and expected to play the whole game. |
You can also do a JCS and play for the first 60 and come off but never be seen again.
| Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing this morning. You don’t want to show anyone else up by being fitter, despite having not played for a while.

| Julien speaks on 17:06 - Jan 26 by Damo1962 | No coincidence that all the best teams in my time following this pantomime club...have all been English. I don't think we are suited to this foreign coach trend nowadays personally. We are unique...and not in the right way 😉 |
And all of the worst managers have been British! Of course, both measures are influenced by not employing a manager from outside the British Isles before the 21st century. That is, unless I'm missing someone.

"Non penso proprio". I really don't think so.
| "Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1." |

| Julien speaks on 21:17 - Jan 26 by sdm1508 | Because of his red card or his form? |
Both. I think he overrates himself, plus he's a footballing liability. If there's been a worse crosser of the ball at QPR in the 50 years I've been watching, I must have missed him.

I can see elements to that. I think he offers us genuine pace in the position and being able to overlap to take defenders away or to cross has it's benefits. Hopefully his crossing will improve. I just feel that sometimes he lacks maturity in his play. The amount of times I have seen Dunne or Cook to tell him to calm down and focus. The aspect that really gets me is when he tries to do too much, gets caught out then acts like he has been poleaxed when tackled hoping to get a free kick or stop playing. Rather than just get back in position. I do however think there is the potential to be a good right back in there and crossing apart, on his day he has been out best option and right back for some time. Dunne was good but but had his limitations. Mbengue when on it has marked out the game some of the league better wingers this season
