It might be a spoof, but my son forwarded what looked like a statement from West Ham that there were 2,405 tickets left for sale at 3pm yesterday, imploring home fans to buy them to keep them away from Western invaders, quoting social media estimates that 6,000 have bought in home areas. Seems a bit suspect, unless a high percentage of crowds there are always first time visitors.
Just looked on Ticketmaster, the back six rows in a few of the side blocks left, maybe 1,000 now. [Post edited 11 Jan 9:20]

He had a crazy goalscoring record and a great partner in Alan Gilzean. Chivers had the look of a snooty young officer and Gilzean his mad Scottish batman, putting his nut on anything. |

On the contrary, I think they’ll play the first team to integrate their new strikers as quickly as possible - for the first hour at least. They need to improve quickly so they should see this as essential training time. |
