Owain Away
Former Dale keeper Owain Fon Williams has found himself a new club by signing a deal with fellow League One side Tranmere Rovers.
News overnight has suggested that Owain Fon Williams has become the first of the released Dale players to have found themselves a new club by joining Tranmere.
Fon Williams had been linked with a few clubs notably Yeovil and there was even a call for a return to Spotland in some parts, but that speculation has now ended with the tall keeper agreeing to a deal taking him to Prenton Park.
OFW came to Spotland having fallen out of favour at 92nd placed Stockport County, yet impressed during his brief spell with Dale where he made 22 appearances for Dale including a four game streak of clean sheets - the first Dale keeper to do so for a number of years.
