Jaidi To Go Under The Knife
Radhi Jaidi faces surgery in an attempt to cure his long standing knee injury.
Radhi Jaidi will have an arthroscopy on his troublesome knee tomorrow (Wednesday) according to Nigel Adkins on Radio Solent today.
Jaidi injured th knee in pre season and it hasnt responded to treatment so now the surgeon will look inside and try to discover just what the problem is Adkins told the BBC station,
At the very least even if the problem is found and dealt with Jaidi faces several weeks recuperation and then he will baiscally have to start training from step one, having been sidelined since pre season.
There are those that question whether Jaidi will pull on a Saints shirt again with age being against him having turned 36 in August. Of course it would be a great shame if that was to be the case as the tunisian played a big part in the promotion push last season, playing 31 games and scoring 3 times in the league, one thing is for sure with the season's games coming thick and fast he wont play that many this year.
