Cropper Undergoes Surgery
Keeper Cody Cropper has undergone surgery on the knee injury he suffered in training earlier this week. TWTD was first to reveal that the 18-year-old was set for a spell on the sidelines yesterday.
Cropper, who faces around two months out, tweeted: “Surgery is done. Knee feels pretty good at the moment and now it’s time to get on the road to recovery!”
The US U20 international has a professional contract until the end of the season when he completes the second year of his Academy scholarship.
Cropper had been expected to be amongst Town's subs for Saturday's game against Derby until suffering his injury.
His Academy colleague Conor O'Donnell, 17, could be named in the senior 16 for the first time unless Richard Wright is considered fit enough to take his place on the bench after his strained pec.
