Bardsley, who made 307 appearances for Rangers between 1989 and 1998, now runs a football academy in Florida where the players wear QPR kits and training gear. On this week’s podcast Bardsley tells host David Fraser of his frustration at not being able to officially affiliate his academy with QPR so that he can bring the promising young players he is developing to Harlington for trials.

He also speaks with great fondness about his time at Loftus Road, saying his three children and him are all still fans of the club and watch the games from their home in the States. There are one or two amusing Alan McDonald anecdotes thrown in there as well.

Host David Fraser is joined by a panel of Paul Finney, Chris Mendes and Chris Charles. To listen to or download this week’s podcast please click here.
