Match Report

Given our recent spirit eveything but the result went our way and a lot was expected from the game. It didn't start too brightly when in the first couple of minutes when a free kick from Feltcher sailed through the box but luckily flew post the post. DeFoe was reeking havark to our defence, with Boundy missing O'Leary hardly looked able to keep up with him nevermind tackling him!

Things looked a bit brighter when the Swans won their first corner which resulted with Stu making a very weak shot at goal that even my Grand-da could have stopped.

Then started the real gloom & doom. DeFoe was put through on goal and when he tried to round Roger he decided to devil with the black arts and make a right meal of it when Roger knocked the ball out of his reach, the penalty was awarded and Roger was lucky not to get sent off. Hughes slotted the penalty but Roger was only fingertips away from saving it.

The game was dominated from midfield again by AFCB as we couldn't control the ball and this left Watkin and the Useless Boyd to kick around at thin air. Watkin then decided to tie his shoelaces in front of AFCB's goalie which stopped him from taking a goal kick, how stupid can you be, he earned his a yellow card.

Then suprisingly we actually had a half decent chance at the death of the 1st half, a cross from Romo left Cusack in space on the edge of the 6 yd box but instead of controlling it he went to header it but glanced it wide when the goal was at his mercy.

The sceond half was just diabolical and it pains me to much to write about it, Thomas and Smith had a fight on the pitch which was the only thing to warm the cockles as it was just sheer direness!
