Rochdale Game Switched
Rochdale Game Switched Through Welsh Call Ups
Swansea's game with Rochdale has been put back three days due to call-ups for the Welsh Under 21 squad. |
Stuart Roberts, Gareth Phillips, Leigh DeVulgt and Jason Jones have all been called upon for international duty and as such, the Swans have moved the home game scheduled for October 6 to the following Tuesday - October 9 at 7.45pm. |
There is no place this time in the full squad for keeper Roger Freestone with Mark Hughes deciding instead to opt for just three goalkeepers. |
The day off from watching the Swans of course gives everyone extra opportunity to prepare for Roger's first testimonial dinner which takes place that evening in the Marriott Hotel. |
There are still a few tickets left for the bash which is a joint event with Glamorgan Cricket captain Steve James. Tony Cottey, formerly of both Glamorgan and Swansea City will provide the after dinner speaking and there will be a laugh provided by a local comedian. |
If you wish to reserve one of the last few tickets available, at £30 then please call myself on 07768 507695 to order. |
